The hardware requirements for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War were released this week. According to them, the full installation (and therefore the single- and multiplayer mode) was supposed to take up 250 on our drives. While this was not comforting information, it was not surprising either. CoDa fans could have guessed what would happen to them, taking into account the slightly smaller weight of the Call of Duty Warzone game files. However, as we learn, Activision has reduced the weight of the Cold War title. Ultimately, the single player mode will require a download of 35 GB, while the multiplayer mode is a download 47 GB. The owners of weaker and limited internet connections can breathe a sigh of relief.

Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War has been slimmed down. The most rich version of the game on the PC, thanks to which we will play in 4K resolution, will ultimately weigh not 250, but 125 GB.

The total 82 GB for single- and multiplayer modes, however, is the amount of data, thanks to which we will not play at the highest graphics settings or in 4K resolution. If we want the highest possible quality, the game will force us to download a total of 125 GB of data. half less than originally required from us, but remember that the above-mentioned amount of data does not include the Zombie mode, which will appear on PC and Microsoft consoles shortly after its premiere (at the moment it is estimated that Zombie will take an additional 12 GB). This mode will appear on the day of the premiere pumpkins on versions for Sony PlayStation. The premiere, of course, already 13 November.

The plot of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a story that does not require knowledge of previous installments of the series to understand. Nevertheless, the game features characters known from previous productions under this banner, led by Mason, Woods and Hudson, and they are joined by a CIA agent, Russel Adler, who has not been introduced to the players before. The action of the game was set during the Cold War. During the game, we have to thwart the plans of the KGB agent, known under the code name Perseus. Interestingly, the game has several endings – which one we see depends on the decisions we make during the game. To play at “full speed” we will need a computer with an Intel i9 processor – 9900 K / AMD Ryzen 3700 X, 16 GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card 3080.
