??The new Canon ML professional video camera series – 105 takes its cue from a previous model, evolving its design to make it more resistant to atmospheric agents, always aiming for a maximum sensitivity of over 4 million ISO.??

We recently wrote about a model of Canon camcorder with a sensitivity of over 4 million ISO. Now the Japanese manufacturer has presented the new range including the Canon ML model – 105 which promises top-notch performance for the most complex tasks. Here are the technical features.

The features of the Canon ML camcorder – 105

Canon ML – 105 , like other models of the genre , does not focus on high resolution but rather on pixel size. The sensor full-frame CMOS 35 mm in fact it has a resolution of 2,07 MPixel capable of capturing FHD resolutions at 60 eg HD a 60 p.

The sensor is capable of capturing images up to 0.00 lux or lower (with gain of 75 dB, f / 1.2, shutter speed of 1 / 30 s, 50 IRE). This means having a sensitivity higher than 4 million ISO thus surpassing the classic commercial solutions. Exposure time may vary from 10 “a 1 /34000”.

The manufacturer took the best parts of the successful model ME 20 F -SH and took them to Canon ML – 105 , however, reducing size and weight so that it can be used at best also in the field video surveillance. The dimensions are equal to 76 x 76 x 112 mm (EF mount) and 76 x 76 x 83 mm (M coupling 58) while the weight is equal to 800 grams and 565 grams respectively.

The design is designed to be resistant to atmospheric agents but also to shocks allowing its use in all conditions (the supported temperature range varies from – 20 ° C a 50 ° C). Then there are the IP certifications 54, MIL-STD – 810 G and MIL-STD – 461. There are two variants of this model which are distinguished by EF and M coupling 58 while the video outputs are 3G / HD-SDI (YCbCr 422, 8 bit ). Then there is compatibility with third party filters such as IR-cut, Band Pass, IR Pass and ND. The availability of the EF model in Italy is scheduled for the month of December 2020.
