Although it has been one of the biggest launches in history, saturating stores like Steam or GoG, the premiere of CyberPunk 2020 has not been without controversy and the bugs have surfaced quickly, causing situations such as penalties in AMD Ryzen processors or a very bad performance in last generation consoles such as the PlayStation 4 or the Xbox One.
Precisely, the game developer company , CD Projekt Red, just made a statement a few minutes ago in reference to this latest performance problem in last-generation consoles, offering money back to users who purchased Cyberpunk 2020 for PS4 and Xbox One.
Cyberpunk 207 will receive two large patches in the coming weeks to fix bugs and performance problems
In addition, in the same statement, the company commits to fix bugs and problems with the game to improve the overall gaming experience, stating that, after the first round of updates that has already reached users, will release a new patch in the next 7 days, preparing a second patch for after Christmas.
With these two new patches they hope to solve most of the important problems, including the performance problems of the last generation consoles. They warn, however, that the game will not look the same as on a high-end computer or a current generation console, but the experience will be similar to the current one. PC users will also receive patches to fix bugs on a regular basis.
Regarding returns for all those who do not want to wait for updates, for versions purchased through PSN or Xbox online, you only have to request a return through the Sony and Microsoft platforms, while those who have acquired a physical copy should try to return it in their physical store, if not possible, the company has enabled the e-mail helpmerefund@cdprojekred.com from which you can contact them until 21 December.
