CES 2021: ASUS announces the ExpertBook B9, the world's lightest 14 “business notebook at 880 grams

The ASUS ExpertBook B9 claims to be the laptop of 14 inches lightest in the world with only 880 grams of weight. Based on the new Intel Evo vPro platform and certification that Intel itself announced at this CES, and powered by the latest Intel Core 11th generation vPro laptops with Intel Iris Xe graphics and the extra security technologies of this range together with TPM and Kensingston NanoSaver lock. In addition, it has resistance certification MIL-STF 810 H.

There will be an ExpertBook B9 model with 33 Wh battery and 880, and another with 66 Wh and 1005 grams

The ExpertBook B9 has a battery of 33 Wh, although There will also be a version with battery of 66 Wh, double the capacity. Of course, if we choose this version with expanded capacity, the weight goes up to 1005 grams, just a little more than 1 kg in total .

Despite its small size and weight, the B9 supports configurations of up to 2 TB in RAID 0 and RAID 1 for data redundancy.

It has infrared biometric identification and proximity sensor to avoid prying eyes, in addition to ASUS AI ambient noise reduction technology.

Pricing and availability have not yet been revealed.
