That Samsung and AMD had started a collaboration to integrate graphics Radeon in their Exynos chips we know since already the year 2019 when both companies announced it. A few months later they specified that it would arrive in 2021 and last year we knew the first benchmarks of some prototypes that showed a great leap in graphic performance with respect to of the previous models with ARM’s Mali GPu.

Now Samsung has stated that the first Exynos with Radeon GPUs will arrive soon . The latest Exynos 2021 presented a few days ago still maintains a GPu ARM Mali-G 78 and it is their most powerful SoC to date, however, at the presentation event they have stated that it will arrive soon an even more powerful SoC with AMD graphics.

The new SoC with AMD Radeon GPUs will replace the recently announced Exynos 2100

This SoC will promise a big performance leap, although we will have to wait for the next flagship that the company launches after the expected Galaxy S 21 that, except surprise, they should arrive today at the unpacked event that will take place at 16: 00 Spanish time. Perhaps the next generation of Galaxy Note will be the first with AMD Radeon GPUs, or it will finally arrive in a more exclusive model. Be that as it may, we will await a move that will AMD’s entry into the mobile SoCs market.
