Cyberpunk 2077 – Patch 1.06 removes the problem with save files. Optimization on consoles has also been improved
Source: Pure PC added 24th Dec 2020Cyberpunk 2077 what it is, everyone can see. There is probably no person who has not experienced even a few minor bugs while playing this title, although it seems that most players have experienced quite a lot of them. More than one video material has been created about the problems of Cyberpunk 2077, and many news has been devoted to bugged screens. The CD Projekt RED studio patches the game as much as it can, releasing the sixth patch this time marked with 1. 06. What improves? First of all, it removes the 8MB limit for game save files. The second key “novelty” is the improvement of memory management and stability on consoles, thanks to which the game (according to the developers) will freeze less often, and it should also make better use of hardware resources.
Patching continued. This time Cyberpunk 2077 receives fix number 1. 06 in which PC players receive solving the problem with saving the game, and console players receive optimization fixes.

A few days ago the network was buzzing with information about problems with saving the game. The thing was that when the save file exceeded the weight of 8 MB, it became unusable. As a temporary remedy, the CDPR suggested in its official statement to keep fewer items in your inventory. Today, however, we don’t have to worry about it anymore, because fix 1 06 is to fix this problem. Unfortunately, this hotfix does not repair previously corrupted files (and therefore pre-update). The above fix applies to PCs, and in the case of consoles, update 1. 06 is to improve memory management and stability.
Cyberpunk 2077 – Insightful review. We look at the Samurai under the kimono, and there … a sinusoid of ups and downs. Which more?
Regardless of the platform, the new update also fixes a bug in the Second Conflict mission, during which Dum Dum will no longer be present at the entrance to Totentanz. The update for PlayStation 4 weighs 16, 8 GB and only slightly less on the Xbox and PC. Unfortunately in my case, GOG has somehow started downloading the entire game from scratch … Some console players have reported that loading screens take longer after updating. How does it look like with you? Has anything changed … for the better?
