Some information on the drone DJI Mini 2 – descendant of the current Mavic Mini – has leaked online and are particularly interesting: first of all it seems that this drone will be able to offer an operating autonomy of 31 minutes per single battery charge thus extending flight times compared to most commercial drones on the market today. Secondly, certainly not least, the ability to record 4K video and the ability to reach a maximum altitude of well 4000 meters .

31 minutes of autonomy and 4000 altitude meters: DJI mini 2 beyond belief!

The DJI Mini 2 appeared in stolen images showing it together to the contents of the Fly More Bundle which, like that of the previous generation, includes three batteries, spare propellers, cables and other components. The price of the bundle is not yet known, but as regards the basic version of DJI Mini 2 we are talking about a starting price of 450 euro, and the release date on the market seems to be November 4th.

Regarding the specifications, however to be taken cum fiore salis since this is unofficial information, we are talking about a field of view of 83 degrees for the drone’s front camera, with a maximum aperture of f / 2.8. The camera module consists of a 1 / 2.3-inch 12 megapixel sensor and is capable of capturing 4K video at 30 FPS . For the photographic side we talk about the possibility of shooting in JPG and also in DNG to be able to shoot in RAW .

Other data: DJI Mini 2 appears to be able to reach speeds of 16 meters per second on all sides and a vertical climb rate of 5 meters per second . The battery seems to be 2250 mAh, therefore not particularly large, but capable – at least it seems – of being able to reach 31 minutes of flight.

If the launch date will actually be November 4th we can expect an official announcement in the next days.
