This time, however, we will return to a more classic design, without any novelty inside. Well, maybe apart from the manufacturer’s logo. Do you still remember Toshiba laptops? Last year, the laptops division was taken over by Dynabook, which resulted in changes to the housings of well-known devices and those that are just going to the market. Today we focus on the entry-level model for office work, the Dynabook Satellite Pro L 50.

The Dynabook Satellite Pro L 50 has been prepared for less demanding office work. We will not find unique solutions or top performance here. The equipment, however, has been designed in such a way that it is possible to use it without any problems on a daily basis. Dynabook Satellite Pro L 40 has been equipped with a 4-core and 8-thread Intel Core i5 processor – 10210 U, belonging to the Intel Comet Lake-U family and part of the tenth generation of processors The unit in question has a base clock of 1.6 GHz with the possibility of automatic boost in Turbo Boost 2.0 mode to a maximum of 4.2 GHz. The turbo is therefore improved compared to the older Kaby Lake Refresh and Whiskey Lake-U systems, and this is actually the main change of the discussed system compared to its predecessors. in a technological process, it is obvious that it will draw rather little power. This is also the case, because the TDP of the Intel Core i5 model – 10210 U was set at 15IN. The processor used in the tested Dynabook is soldered to the BGA connector, so it cannot be replaced. In addition, the locked BIOS prevents any OC attempts. We are solely reliant on Turbo Boost 2.0 operation.

A certain downside of the device is the RAM memory that works only in Single Channel mode – although it will not be a big problem for office work, in some applications the processor may achieve worse results compared to the situation when the CPU is connected with Dual Channel memory. For this reason, I encourage you to choose the version immediately from 16 GB, since only one SO-DIMM slot is available to the user. We see the biggest budget cuts in this aspect, but luckily in other aspects the Dynabook Satellite Pro L 50 looks better now.
