EA announces Mass Effect Legendary Edition and Battlefield VI

For months there have been rumors about a technically revised version of the original Mass Effect trilogy. Now the developer studio Bioware has finally officially announced the Legendary Edition. A release should already take place in spring 2021 for PC as well as for Xbox and Playstation. Both the Xbox One and the Playstation 4 and the new generation of consoles are supported. There the graphics should be pimped up again according to the performance. It was also revealed that a sequel to the original story was being worked on.

The revised version should offer updated effects, models, textures and shaders. In addition, high frame rates are promised with 4K triggering. It is also emphasized again that the changes are of a purely visual nature and that the story is not changed in any way in order to enable connoisseurs to have unadulterated gaming fun. In addition to the three main parts, the Legendary Edition also includes all DLCs as well as promo weapons and armor.

The first Mass Effect part already appeared 2007 and thrilled both the press and the players.
