In July this year, the game Far Cry 6 was officially presented at the Ubisoft Forward industry event. After a series of trailers and several gameplays, the exact release date was also announced, which was set on 18 February 2021 of the year. In addition to the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, the game will appear simultaneously on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, where in both cases the manufacturer will offer the game in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Quite unexpectedly, Ubisoft published a note on its social channels with information about the delay of the two premieres next year. One of the games is Far Cry 6, while the other is Rainbow Six Quarantine. When will we play new productions from the publisher?

Ubisoft officially announced the delay of the release of Far Cry 6, which was due to debut in February 2021 year. The current release date is unknown, as are the Rainbow Six: Quarantine games.

The reason for the delay of both games is the coronavirus pandemic, which forced Ubisoft employees to switch to remote work, which noticeably extended the work on both Far Cry 6 and Rainbow Six Quarantine. The producer only confirmed that both games will debut in the next fiscal year, i.e. in the period between April 1 2021 and 31 March 2022 of the year. We expect Far Cry 6 to make its debut earlier, especially as the company insisted that one of the delayed games will go on sale no earlier than late next fall.

Far Cry 6 had a specific and not far away release date already at the time of announcement, which means that this title was probably at a more advanced stage. So here we expect the premiere to take place in the second quarter of the year, at the end of June at the latest. Let us remind you that the main character of Far Cry 6 will be Dani Rojas, who wants to liberate the nation and to achieve this goal, he must fight against the ruthless Anton Castillo, the dictator of the Yara island, where the game will take place. It is supposed to be the largest map in the history of the cycle, but there will also be variety. We find ourselves in the embrace of a tropical jungle and a sunny beach, and in the middle of the capital of Yara, Esperanza.
