Far Cry 6 in 4K and 60 FPS on PS5 and XSX. Other Ubisoft games are no worse
Source: Pure PC added 27th Oct 2020French company Ubisoft has revealed what resolution and performance can be expected in their upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X games. On the operation of selected titles such as Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla , Watch Dogs Legion or Rainbow Six: Siege, we knew on the new generation consoles before. However, there was no shortage of fresh information – it was officially confirmed that in Far Cry 6, which will debut 18 February 2021, we will play on PS5 and Xbox Series X in 4K and 60 frames per second. What is the situation with other productions? Ubisoft shared details about Immortals Fenyx Rising or the Riders Republic sports game, as well as the previously released Rainbow Six: Siege and For Honor.
We know at what resolution and in how many frames per second the Ubisoft games planned for the end of this and the beginning of next year will work on new-generation consoles. One of them will be Far Cry 6, in which we will play in 4K and 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 4K and 60 FPS on Xbox Series X
Ubisoft will offer for each scheduled a free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox Series X / S for the next period of the game. However, most players are more interested in whether the new consoles will bring an appropriate upgrade also in terms of graphics and performance. 60 frames per second is unlikely to be a standard in the upcoming generation, but there should be no major problems with such smooth some games created for current consoles. Thus, not only will Far Cry 6 work in 4K and 2021 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but also AC: Valhalla or Immortals Fenyx Rising, and such as Rainbow Six: Siege, are supposed to walk even in 120 frames per second. Watch Dogs Legion – Ubisoft presents the graphics settings in the game
Ubisoft confirmed the resolution and performance on the Xbox Series S, Microsoft’s weaker next-generation console, only on For Honor. In other cases, it is not clear whether the fluency will be maintained at the level of 60 frames, but after lowering the resolution to 1440 p or 1080 p, as in the quoted For Honor. In some games with a more distant release date (Far Cry 6) it may be too early, especially as the games will require a bit more work to optimize them for the Xbox Series S. But it’s strange that the target performance and resolution in Watch Dogs Legion has not been confirmed which is coming out this week (for new consoles, mid-November, of course). We also do not know if the game will offer a mode such as 1440 p / 4K at 60 FPS but without ray tr
