A very short nine second video published by Nvidia on Twitter anticipates the announcements of the GeForce RTX “Game On” event which will be streamed on 12 January at 18: 00 on the company’s Twitch and YouTube channels. The video confirms the presentation of the GPUs GeForce RTX 3000 for the mobile world , in fact you can see the outline of an open laptop. The second image in succession shows a frame of Outriders , a game developed by People Can Fly and the first is coming out. April: It could be an “RTX” title, with support for ray tracing and DLSS, but during the event we expect a broader look at the world of gaming.
third image shows the written GeForce RTX on what looks like the side of a Founders Edition desktop video card . We know that Nvidia is working to expand the range of its offerings and in particular the company could announce the GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB (last week there were rumors of a possible Ultra denomination, but there are no confirmations and it could be a fake).
The fourth image instead shows a GPU surrounded by eight memory chips, connected in turn to a CPU via eight PCIe lanes. The image seems to indicate the ability to exploit the memory to the maximum, implying that the event will talk about the functionality Resizable BAR , introduced by AMD under the name Smart Access Memory (SAM). Nvidia could support it on both desktop and mobile, as the image in the movie suggests.
