If there is suspicion of a virus under Windows, the time has come for Desinfec’t: The security tool of the c’t editorial team is now in the current version 2020 / 21 on one USB stick available in the heise shop. Desinfec’t can Help Windows users out of trouble if they no longer want to start their PC for security reasons due to a possible virus attack. Such a situation is particularly stupid if there is important data on the computer that you actually have to access.
