She is a real exotic. The “S” in the name stands for sensitivity and alludes to the high sensitivity of the sensor. It only works with a reduced resolution of 11 Megapixels. In addition, Sony has a strong focus on video with the S line.

The manufacturer took almost five years to create the third generation of the A7S, although otherwise it is setting a rather high pace with its system cameras sets the day. The high-resolution A7R line, which is the opposite of the S series, has been adorned with the ordinal number IV for more than a year.

Handling: Improved case, revised menu Actually the differences between A7S III and A7S II are reasonably large in terms of the long waiting time. This is already noticeable in the case, which comes with all the known advantages that Sony has integrated into its A7 series in the recent past. It is now beefier and, thanks to the deeper grip bulge, it is very safe and comfortable to hold. The manufacturer has completely revised the controls so that the fingers can now orientate themselves better on the housing when the eye remains on the viewfinder. The four-way rocker protrudes slightly and Sony now places the setting wheels more prominently on the top of the case. And finally there is a joystick with which you can, for example, move focus fields very quickly. With the A7S II you had to work even more laboriously with the user key and four-way rocker.
