With Huawei today, you can’t be sure. The tense situation between China and the USA and sanctions related to the economic war make the fate of the company from a global perspective quite surprising. Nevertheless, the company has no intention of giving up. The latest information about the brand is confirmed by the work on the smartphone Huawei P 50. The next generation of the flagship would be presented in the first half of next year. However, this is not the end of the information. The most interesting thing is that the HiSilicon Kirin processor 9000 may be on board. So far, it has been said that Mate 40 was the last model of the manufacturer using mobile systems of the Kirin series.

This is just a surprise. Next year’s smartphone Huawei P 50 will be equipped with the Kirin chip, the use of which was to end on the Mate model 40. What is the cause of this front change?

Huawei Mate 40 Pro smartphone test. HMS instead of Google

The latest report from South Korea surprised us a bit. According to the information contained therein, Huawei intends to continue the P series 50 using Kirin 9000 for production. Mate 40 Pro was to be the last mobile device of the manufacturer in which the said chips would be used. Apparently, however, the manufacturer managed to produce more than expected units before the new US sanctions were imposed. The second, though less likely option, is a slight interest in the Mate model 40 and an attempt to use components in a different project.

Huawei P 50 confirmed by the CEO himself

It is also said that Huawei P 50 will use OLED panels from Samsung and LG, but there are no details in this regard. In the case of P 50, the presence of Android cannot be expected. It is almost certain that the manufacturer will decide to use a proprietary solution in the form of HarmonyOS. The software is based on HMS (Huawei Mobile Services), which for many people is an alternative to Google services. Even if the device is shown, I sincerely doubt its global success precisely because of the inability to freely use the applications of the Mountain View giant.
