at the beginning of the year , when computer trade fairs could still take place without COVID lockdown and restrictions, MSI presented the Aegis TI5 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. We now had the opportunity to get a top configuration with Intel Core i9 – 10900 K and GeForce RTX 3080 to watch. We did this together with Wolf from MSI.
The Aegis TI5 is the most powerful desktop computer that MSI currently offers. This is available in different configurations, always with Comet Lake-S from Intel and always with a GeForce RTX graphics card, but with different strengths. You can find all models on the MSI product page. We had the top model with Intel’s fastest ten core and the second most powerful GeForce RTX card, more precisely the GeForce RTX 3080 VENTUS 3X 10 G OC, available.

The processor is operated by an AiO -Cooling is cooled while the graphics card finds its place in the upper part of the case. All of the components are located in the compact middle part of the housing, which in turn stands on one foot. The power pack is also located in the base. The entire housing is made of a stable metal construction – as is the majority of the covers.
The front is dominated by an illuminated panel. There is also the large rotary knob, which can be assigned special functions. Here you can switch between the different operating modes, the Mystic Light RGB lighting can be controlled with it or the built-in OLED shows some system parameters. In terms of design, the Aegis TI5 is extremely conspicuous and atypical for a complete system.
