Initially it was thought that it was a joke that of KFConsole , a game console developed by the chain American KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) and designed, so it was imagined, to make fun of Sony Playstation 5 and Microsoft xBoX Series X.
However, this is not a joke, but a product that the company really intends to market in collaboration with Cooler Master and ASUS . This is to all intents and purposes a marketing initiative that aims to make KFC talk within the world of home gaming, succeeding in a very effective way, we must admit it.
Heart of the system is an Intel NUC platform , paired with an ASUS video card with GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX . There is therefore power to sell to ensure more than high frames per second with the games on the market. The most characteristic element of this product is undoubtedly the case, developed by Cooler Master, as this is what distinguishes KFConsole from any other type of gaming system.
The Chicken Chamber is also integrated into the chassis , a sliding slide that resembles a furniture drawer. Inside you can store the fried chicken wings, obviously made by KFC, so that they remain warm and ready to be consumed during play sessions. Everything is based on the heat generation typical of a modern gaming PC, heat that before being evacuated to the outside of the case helps to keep our chicken wings warm.
More than a hymn to gaming, one thinks of a sedentary lifestyle and an unhealthy diet. But maybe fried chicken wings are less worse than a packet of chips during a long gaming session, don’t you think?
