We most often talk about innovation in the context of smartphones when describing new products with folding screens, such as Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 or Motorola razr. It is worth looking at the matter a bit wider and not be limited only to this type of construction. An equally interesting project is the LG Wing, presented in September, with two screens, one of which is rotated by 90 degrees. It may not be a vision that will make queues for the product, but the curiosity may interest enthusiasts of the aforementioned true innovation. As we have just managed to find out the official price of LG Wing, we can assess the possible profitability of the purchase.

LG Wing has appeared in the Polish store of the South Korean manufacturer. Thus, we have already learned the official price of an innovative smartphone with a rotating main screen.

The premiere of LG Wing 5G – two screens in an unusual configuration

The LG Wing smartphone debuted in mid-September, but the presentation was preceded by a series of leaks and foggy, but still – messages the manufacturer himself. Today we already know the official Polish price of the device, which was set at PLN 4 799. If you combine this with the money we have to spend on flagship Android devices, you can come to the conclusion that the LG Wing is not an expensive device. The problem is that the mentioned model is not a flagship, but a medium with an incredibly innovative design.

LG Velvet smartphone test – a one-time jump or a new chapter?

LG Wing works under the control of the Qualcomm Snapdragon system 765 G, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB of space for user data. A not particularly powerful setup is saved by the screens: 6.8-inch main FHD + (2460 x 1080 pixels) with aspect ratio 20: 9 and an additional 3.9-inch G-OLED with the resolution 1240 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio 1. 15: 1. The key to possible success, however, is not to be hardware, but usefulness in many life situations. Driving a car will be a good example here. Instead of partially interrupting the in-car navigation to switch a track from Spotify or read messages from Messenger, just use the additional screen.
