Mad Catz, who rose from the ashes of bankruptcy at the beginning of the year 2018 with new owners, is best known for his RAT gaming mouse. However, the company’s newcomer to the light gaming mouse category will follow the new name.

The MOJO M1 differs at first glance from most lightweight gaming mice. The mouse is ergonomically designed for right-handers and includes a thumb rest. In addition, instead of the honeycomb structure, the shells are perforated in triangles on the sides and in the middle of the back of the mouse. Mad Catz has been filed with a mouse weight 70 per gram, which is not quite enough for the tip of ultra-light mice, but is still remarkably light. Inside the mouse, RGB lighting pulsates according to current trends.

The M1’s sensor is PixArt’s PMW 3360, which reaches at its best 39 DPI accuracy, 250 in seconds per second and 11 G acceleration. The main mouse buttons are implemented with the company’s patented DAKOTA switches, which are promised to last million clicks. DAKOTA is a mechanical switch that uses an advanced signal recognition mechanism, according to the company, which eliminates the vibrations (bounce / debounce) of traditional mechanical switches and improves the response time to less than two milliseconds. The mouse also has a DPI button, a scroll wheel, and two thumb buttons.

The strategic dimensions of the Mad Catz MOJO M1 are 120 x 79, 3 x 39 millimeters and 70 grams. Deliveries of the mice will begin by the end of this month, but the company has not yet disclosed its pricing.
