Mass Effect Legendary Edition announced – premiere in 2021

Initially, it was thought that the remastered trilogy would be released later this year, but eventually EA opted for another remaster – Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Today the so-called N7 Day, a celebration of all fans of the Mass Effect brand. During a special panel, BioWare finally officially confirmed the long-lasting work on a special edition called Mass Effect Legendary Edition. It will include all three parts along with the DLCs released for them. Interestingly, in the official press release, BioWare confirms the start of work on the new part of Mass Effect.
BioWare studio officially announced the remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy. Refreshed games in Legendary Edition will debut this spring 2021.
Initially, Mass Effect Legendary Edition was supposed to go on sale this year, but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, work on remasters has been extended. Ultimately, the complete edition will be available in the spring 2021 of this year. We will know more details about the changes after the New Year. The title will debut on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In addition, there will be more packaged versions for the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. According to the press release, there will be renewals, among others. textures, lighting and shading. All platforms should also receive support for 4K Ultra HD resolutions and 60 frames per second.
BioWare’s Casey Hudson with the Mass Effect Legendary Edition reveal he also announced another piece of information. Well, the production process for the new Mass Effect game has started. The first concept art is presented below. As the work on the next Mass Effect has just begun, we will certainly have to wait a few more years for our debut. So we don’t know if the potential Mass Effect 5 will continue the story of the Andromeda galaxy or whether it will be a whole new chapter in the saga.
