MediaTek is speeding up and does not think to slow down. He sees his opportunity, among others, in the medium segment, where 5G technology is taking the storm. The manufacturer’s latest chip – MediaTek Dimensity 700 is to hit the mediums. As the system has just been officially announced, we can take a look at its technical specification, which includes a 5G modem with Dual SIM support, compatibility with cameras with resolutions up to 64 Mpix and RAM memories up to 16 GB. Other technical details are equally interesting, if not more, here, so we will discuss the individual elements of the technical specification of the title chip, which can be used in models from the higher mid-price segment.

MediaTek Dimensity 700 is the manufacturer’s latest chip dedicated to mid-priced smartphones. Here we find solutions such as Dual SIM 5G, MediaTek 5G UltraSave and compatibility with screens refreshed with frequency 90 Hz.

At the beginning, one note – I do not expect the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 700 system in flagships, just as I do not expect to see it in budgeters. This is a typical average, which will slightly increase the attractiveness of this category. Now that the formalities are behind us, let’s move on to the details. The described system was made of 7 nm lithography and consists of two Cortex-A cores 76 clocked at 2.2 GHz and six cores Cortex-A 55 with 2 GHz clock. Graphics is Mali-G Integrated GPU 67 MC2 running in 950 MHz. MediaTek Dimensity 700 can handle LPDDR4X RAM (2133 MHz) with a capacity of 16 GB.
