OnePlus within the first half of the new year will launch the flagship series OnePlus 9 , which today was hit by a major leak of information. The series will consist, in addition to OnePlus 9 5G and OnePlus 9 Pro, probably by a third device called Oneplus 9SE , although the Chinese brand has not yet confirmed this. The OnePlus 9 5G Live Photos and the screenshots with the hardware information we see were posted by PhoneArena .

Technical specifications and design: this is what OnePlus 9 5G looks like

The back of the device immediately catches the eye with a triple cam slightly protruding, formed by two aligned sensors of equal size and a third decidedly smaller, in addition of course to the LED flash. From the screenshots shown by PhoneArena the cameras result from 01 MP and 4 MP, probably translated into a main by 48 MP and an ultrawide from 16 MP for the final units . The logo on the back, although different from that of OnePlus, simply indicates that it is a prototype.

OnePlus 9 5G mounts a display of 6, 55 inches Full-HD + with an increased update frequency to 120 Hz and a ratio of 20: 9. As revealed by the images, the panel is flat and shows a hole for the front cam on the left side of the device. In terms of design there are no big news compared to the OnePlus 8T predecessor.

The frame of the smartphone is probably in aluminum with the keys along the frame left in the usual positions of the other OnePlus devices. On the right side there remains the now canonical alert slider for the ringtone, there is no official IP certification for OnePlus 9 5G . The screenshot posted shows a chipset named Lahaina , the code name of the new Snapdragon 888 . The interface used will be the OxygenOS together with Android 11 . The smartphone offers 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of external storage memory, not expandable.
