With over 2 million viewers, the Spanish streamer TheGrefg has set a new audience record on Twitch. He revealed a “Fortnite” skin.

Almost 2.5 million viewers watched the Spanish streamer TheGrefg unveil a “Fortnite” skin based on him on Twitch. The promotional campaign for the Battle Royale shooter set a new audience record on Amazon’s streaming platform.

The statistics are Concurrent Viewers – i.e. the maximum number of viewers who watched a stream at the same time. According to the industry magazine Dotesports, TheGrefg previously held this record with 660. 000 simultaneous viewers. Before that, the “Fortnite” streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins had the record with 635. 000 spectators.

TheGrefg even surpassed it the record of the official “Fortnite” channels: At an official event in June, the various streams from Epic Games, which were split over different voice channels, had a total of 2.3 million simultaneous viewers. TheGrefg’s streams are played in Spanish and are therefore also aimed at the large audience in Central and South America.
