PlayStation 5 owners report more problems. This time it's about the DualSense pad, in which the triggers break
Source: Pure PC added 28th Dec 2020The PlayStation 5 console appeared on the market a month ago and still does not want to leave the lips of users interested in technology. If I were to be biting, I would explain this fact not with technological advancement, but with a glaring lack of store availability. So happy those who have already purchased PlayStation 5. Although … probably not entirely happy. From time to time, the Internet reports minor problems related to the equipment. Now another one has appeared and this time it is about the DualSense controller. Thus, the pad joins the infamous list with the problems of childhood of the latest console. As users report, the controller triggers start to break after a short time.
There have been reports on the network that the new DualSense controllers “accompany” the PlayStation 5 console crash. The problem concerns the triggers (more often the R2 button than the L2 button) and partly also the analog knobs.

Players have reported the impression of cracking the inside of the triggers. There is also talk of loosening them, reducing sensitivity, and ultimately stopping operation altogether. So there is no question of a specific, identical failure, but a series of problems most likely resulting from poor design or poor quality materials. The case is all the more sad, because Sony for a long time before the premiere advertised haptics as one of the biggest advantages and new products in DualSense controllers.

At the moment, the Sony service mentions the registration of over a thousand reports of defective drains, although the brand still has not commented on the whole situation, wanting to look at it carefully first. However, this is not the end of the bugs regarding the new controllers. As reported by other players, in many models the material covering the analog knobs is torn off. So maybe it’s better to refrain from buying a new PlayStation for a while and watch the situation develop …
