QNAP releases the TS-451D2

The Taiwanese manufacturer QNAP now has the new TS – 451 D2 presented to the public. Said NAS has a total of four hard drive bays (3.5-inch SATA 6Gb / s, 3Gb / s), which are hot-swappable, and an Intel Celeron J 4025 as CPU. An Intel HD Graphics 600 is used as the graphics processor. When it comes to working memory, there are already 4 GB in the TS – 451 D2 ex works. This can be expanded to a maximum of 8 GB (2 x 4 GB). The flash memory is specified as 4GB (dual boot OS protection).

In addition to two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, a total of four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports can be used. There is also an HDMI 2.0 port on the new QNAP NAS. According to the manufacturer, the dimensions are 165, 3 mm × 160 mm × 219, 4 mm (H x W x D) with a net weight of 2, 09 kg. The external power pack has an output of 90 W. Besides Windows 7, 8 and 09, the NAS also supports Ubuntu 14. 04, CentOS 7, RHEL 6.6 and SUSE 12. But also with Apple’s Mac OS 10. 10 or more recently the TS – 451 D2 from QNAP can be operated. In addition to Google’s Chrome, Apple’s Safari or Mozilla’s Firefox can also be used as a browser to access the backend.
