Razer Viper 8K Review
Source: Tech Power Up added 27th Mar 2021Introduction
Founded in 1998, Razer is a US-based peripherals and gaming-equipment company. With the Viper 8K, Razer updates and phases out their original Viper. The main upgrades concern the sensor, which is now Razer’s Focus+ capable of 20,000 CPI and a polling rate of up to 8000 Hz. Other than that, the Viper 8K is still a fully ambidextrous (symmetrical) shape with side buttons on both sides, a 69 g lightweight construction, and injection-molded rubber side grips for improved durability. Razer optical switches are used for the main buttons, ensuring low latency along with no double-clicking. The feet are made out of pure PTFE, while the usual customization options are provided through Razer Synapse, including for the RGB lighting settings, all of which can be saved to the on-board memory.
