We are approaching the premiere of Samsung Galaxy S smartphones 21, which, depending on the market, will work under the control of the Exynos 2100 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 . As the existing chips of the South Korean manufacturer were characterized by lower energy efficiency and real computing power, many users found the Snapdragon variants much more attractive. However, this may change next year. It turns out that Samsung’s latest chip performs in the Geekebench test similar to the Snapdragon unit 888. Although this is unofficial information that will be verified in the coming weeks, its source is reliable.

According to the Geekbench 5 test, the mobile Samsung Exynos chip 2100 has a similar performance to the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip 888. The differences between the local variants of the manufacturer’s flagships will begin to blur.

Samsung is developing variants equipped with two different computing units by creating flagship mobile devices. Qualcomm Snapdragon systems go to the American version of the smartphone, while most of the world has to be content with slightly less efficient units from the Exynos family. These are also less successful in terms of energy management. However, in the case of Samsung Exynos 2100 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 88 it should be different . At least this is the result of the Geekbench 5 test that appeared on the web.

Samsung Galaxy S smartphone test 20 FE – cheaper, not worse

Samsung Exynos 2100 scored 1103 points for the single core test and 3785 in the multi-core test. Interestingly, Qualcomm Snapdragon “dialed” 1135 and 3794 points for one and many cores, respectively. The difference between the measurements seems almost imperceptible, but you have to remember that these are not the final tests. Only the actual results obtained on smartphones intended for regular sale, working under the control of a stable version of the software, will give us an idea of the actual performance. Nevertheless, if these data are confirmed, Poles should feel satisfied. It is here that smartphones with Exynos will come to us.
