Last week we saw the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 5G in a comprehensive set of official-looking leaked renders, and today it’s time for the same treatment to be afforded to the Galaxy A72 5G.

Like the name implies, this is destined to be the successor to the Galaxy A71 5G, and its design language is unsurprisingly incredibly similar to that of the Galaxy A52 5G. Think of the A72 as basically the A52’s slightly larger brother.

The Galaxy A72 5G is apparently going to become official in early 2021, as per the usually reliable source of these leaks. The phone’s back will be plastic while the frame is said to be aluminum. The A72 5G sports a 6.7″ flat touchscreen with a single centered punch-hole selfie camera.

There are four snappers on the back, and unfortunately the details on them are still unclear, but it would surprise no one if the main unit would be 64 MP.

The Galaxy A72 5G measures 165 x 77.4 x 8.1 mm (9.9 mm with the camera bump). It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The expected price point, in unlocked form, in the US, is $599.
