Large systems can only be developed with modularization. Thanks to microservices in particular, there is again a discussion about this central concept. In this series of software architecture in the live stream, Eberhard Wolff looks at classic concepts for modularization, for example by Parnas. He also works out what can be learned from these approaches to architectural work on modern systems.

Since June 2020 25 episodes have emerged which cover different areas of the Illuminate software architecture – sometimes with guests, sometimes Wolff solo. Starting with the episode from last Friday heise Developer binds the new episodes streamed via YouTube in the online channel so that viewers can follow the videocast from Heise Medien.
