Sony has released a new trailer dedicated to Marvel’s Spider-Man : Miles Morales , launch title of PlayStation 5 and sequel / spin-off of the already acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man (2018).

To be honest, there are two new videos: a promotional teaser dedicated to the exclusive costume inspired by the movie Spider-Man: A New Universe and a full-bodied cl ip gameplay extracted from the PS5 version of the game – coming, remember, also on the older PlayStation 4.

Miles Morales: from big to small screen with PS5 game

The amazing skin that we find in the trailers below corresponds to the suit worn by Miles Morales in A New Universe , feature film directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman; the film that also received the Academy Award for Best Animated Film.

Once the costume is put on, our protagonist will move with the same original animations of the film, giving life to a surprising mix that, at first sight, will leave its mark.

The long gameplay footage posted on the Marvel Entertainment channel allows us to take a further look at Spider-Man: Miles Morales and its game formula. In the video we also find the comment of Justin K. Thompson, Production Designer of the aforementioned film.

We note different points of contact between the new episode and the prequel received on PS4 in 2018, starting from the open-world structure in which the adventure is set: here Miles will be able to circle among the skyscrapers of New York by taking part in various missions and intervening to thwart yet another threat, all without having to go through long loading screens.

As explained by the developers of Insomniac Games , the suit of A New Universe will be unlockable by everyone within the campaign, but users who have made the preorder will be able to wear it from the first launch of the game.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will accompany the launch of PlayStation 5 : it will be available in Italy from next year 19 November .
