TCL announces Tab 10S and NXTPAPER, here are all the details on the tablets launched at CES 2021

During the virtual press conference at CES 2021, TCL announced two new tablets designed to support the educational and entertainment needs of professionals and students in distance learning: TCL NXTPAPER and TCL TAB 10 S

Leveraging the company’s experience in manufacturing displays, NXTPAPER will be the first commercially available tablet to use the Chinese manufacturer’s homonymous technology. TCL TAB 10 S , on the other hand, will offer a simple and accessible learning experience thanks to a large display and stylus support.
Proprietary technology NXTPAPER , announced last fall at the IFA 2020 in Berlin, achieves top-notch display performance with a highly reflective IPS screen. Through the use of proprietary technology, the tablet display provides superior contrast of the 25% than most e-ink tablets and is more efficient than 65% energy compared to standard LCD screens, ensuring better battery life. It also provides smoother video playback, ensuring an optimized user experience for learning, work and leisure activities.
Designed specifically for large format devices , NXTPAPER offers a visual experience similar to that of paper with a high definition resolution and with significantly lower eye strain than most tablets on the market.
TCL NXTPAPER
In addition to offering one of the most advanced technologies for eye protection, TCL’s new tablet NXTPAPER is a stylish companion for school, work or play. It features an 8 inch NXTPAPER FHD screen thumbs offering a paper-like visual experience, without flickering or harmful blue lights.
The tablet is powered by an octa-core processor and has a 5500 mAh which guarantees over a full day of use, along with a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. TCL NXTPAPER comes with a Kids option Learning, which provides an easy-to-use user interface and Parental Control functions. It is also equipped with Google Assistant and offers both Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity. It has also received the TUV Rheinland safety certification which guarantees eye protection from blue light.
TCL NXTPAPER will be available starting from April 2021, in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Asia at the recommended retail price of 349 ??.
TCL TAB 10 S
TCL TAB 10 S is designed for students and families, specifically to the new needs related to remote teaching and their parents. Equipped with a 10 screen, 1 inch, an octa-core processor and a 8000 mAh battery providing up to eight hours of video playback and up to two weeks of standby, TCL TAB 10 S also offers 4G LTE connectivity, and a dual microphone.
Natively, the tablet implements an independent Parental Control interface and a remote control that gives any parents the possibility to manage both the study time and the rest time of their children, as well as controlling any third party applications used on the device. TCL TAB 10 S is equipped with pogo pin connectors to support any accessories, as well as the stylus TCL T-Pen, offering a smooth and natural “pencil on paper” type experience with low latency.
For added eye safety, the TCL TAB 10 S features intelligent protection with built-in brightness and hue control in light conditions daytime or low light. Offers flicker-free, blue-light-free performance, and alerts users when they are working less than 25 centimeters from the screen.
As of March 2021, TCL TAB 10 S will be available in Europe, North America , Middle East, Africa, Asia and Latin America. The recommended retail price starts from 199 ?? for the Wi-Fi version and 249 ?? for that 4G LTE.
