The Huawei nova 8 and 8 Pro arrive with the Kirin 985 SoC, OLED screen up to 120 Hz and even double front camera

Huawei has launched the nova 8 and nova 8 Pro smartphones, making use of own Kirin SoC 985, fast charging of 66 W and quad rear camera.

They are two new smartphones from the well-known manufacturer. As in previous models such as the Nova 7, there are two well differentiated versions , and even more in this case. The common points to both are a SoC Kirin 985 , quad rear camera, fast charging of 66 W cable, OLED screen and fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen . Let us remember that the fact that they integrate their own SoC is really beneficial for Huawei and indicates that they still have stored stock or that the negotiations with the US are bearing fruit.

Starting with the base version, the Huawei nova 8 uses a 6. OLED screen 57 “FHD + of 90 Hz with curved edges. Throughout the middle we will have a notch where it is located a front camera of 32 MP.

Both Huawei nova 8 integrate the Kirin 985 from the manufacturer and make use of 4 rear cameras

At the rear we see no less than 4 additional cameras. The main one is from 66 MP and occupies a good part, while so the other three are 8 + 2 + 2 MP. The versions that will be 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 505 GB of internal. The battery will be 3800 mAh.

On the other hand, the Huawei nova 8 Pro increases the screen diagonal up to 6. 72 “and the frequency up to 120 Hz . It is also OLED and has the same FHD + resolution. panelo also improves its color representation as it reaches 10 – bit . The notch now houses two front cameras , of 12 and of 32 MP. As in the nova 8, the fingerprint reader is integrated into the screen.

The photographic part is identical to the previous one, with 64 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP, while s that the battery increases slightly to 4000 mAh. There will also be two versions of 8 / 128 GB and 8 / 256 GB.
