As said other times, in a sector that is increasingly moving towards mirrorless cameras, every now and then “ticks” a DSLR Interesting! Nothing new, in an absolute sense, we refer to the Pentax K-3 III , of which we have already written in the past, but which would seem ever closer to the official presentation.

Pentax K-3 III “naked” thanks to the FCC

Della Pentax K-3 III , which we remember being a DSLR APS-C , there has been much talk about its optical viewfinder which promises to be a real technological first to the fact that being a SLR in the midst of so many mirrorless cameras makes it stand out from the rest of the competition.

Thanks to the US certification body (FCC) we now have a view unusual of the camera body. In fact, in public files it is possible to see the internal part without the plastic cover (even if the images of the closed camera are still present) and therefore most of the connections, logic boards and systems implemented by the Japanese manufacturer.

This camera will have a upper display to show the most important information while you can see in the rear area a logic board that covers most of the mechanical system, with the various connectors and flat cables.

In the front image you can see the optical viewfinder system with its iconic shape designed by Ricoh to remember the big cameras Pentax and which will be one of the important parts of the Pentax K-3 III .

In particular this solution will allow to cover the 100% of the frame, will have a magnification iment of 1, 05 x and will use particular glasses. A quality level that will be equal, according to the manufacturer, to a full-frame.

But the Pentax K-3 III can also count on a CMOS sensor in APS-C format from 25, 7 MPixel with a variable sensitivity from 100 to 1. 600. 000 ISO and will not miss IBIS stabilization. Furthermore, to follow the market trends, it will be able to record 4K video 30 eg FHD 60 p. The burst instead can go up to 12 fps.

The mount will be compatible with KA, KAF, KAF4, KAF3 and KAF2 lenses, thus ensuring support for a range of good optics. When will it debut? According to the latest roadmap it should be launched at the CP + fair which will be held in February of 2021 and obviously it will mainly address the lovers of this brand and this technology.
