The Medium will terrorize Xbox players from 28 January
Bloober Team delights us with two and a half minutes of pure terror – with a good dose of screams and hallucinations – in the cinematic trailer dedicated to The Medium. As stated by the developers themselves, the artistic style and the atmosphere of the horror adventure itself are inspired by the works Zdzisław Beksiński , Polish painter, photographer and sculptor.
The trailer introduces us to the key characters of the game. We start from Marianne , the medium, of whom we will take on the clothes while moving between two different ones of reality; in the spiritual realm he will meet Sadness and clash with The Maw , described as “a deceptive entity and hostile who can travel between the material and spiritual world “. Nvidia confirms: The Medium will support Ray Tracing and DLSS
In the last few hours Nvidia announced the arrival of important updates for a wide range of titles. Games like Call of Duty: Warzone and the Future Outriders will welcome DLSS technology to ensure players can increase the frame rate without sacrificing high graphic rendering. This support will also come for The Medium.
In addition to the aforementioned DLSS, which will ensure an important boost on the performance side, the Bloober Team game will also support the Ray Tracing with shadows and reflections rendered in real time. A trailer shared by Nvidia shows some gameplay scenes captured with RTX On.
The Medium pre-order is now available on the Microsoft Store at a discount of 10% – valid for the next two weeks. The launch of the title is scheduled for next January 28 January: it can be played on PC (Windows 10) or on Xbox Series X and Series S , where it will fully support next generation hardware. It will also be available on Game Pass from day one.
