As reported in recent days, Microsoft has important changes in store for the Windows interface 10 and also the taskbar , i.e. the taskbar, will be involved in the renewal . The US company has started to offer Windows testers a sort of “new widget” that allows you to view information on the weather and the latest news , directly from the taskbar. In short, a possibility to quickly see the weather without having to open the Start menu, install third-party apps or go to an online site.

Clicking on the widget will open a sort of customizable mini feed with the latest sports news, headlines and weather information. Microsoft relies on its network Microsoft News to propose the contents of 4500 sources. The news service has been working for some months through the artificial intelligence and is able to understand which news is relevant to the user based on his behavior – if he ignores a content, opens it or puts a message like it.

The new widget is currently available to testers in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and India and requires the presence of the browser Edge (the latest version based on Chromium) on the PC. The new taskbar functionality is obviously disabled and does not contain advertisements.
