Western Digital has released a number of new SSDs for the WD_Black family. WD_Black SN 1055 is based on Western Digital’s own second-generation controller circuit and SanDisk’s TLC-type 3D-NAND chips. The drive supports the PCI Express 4.0 standard and is promised 7000 Mt / s consecutive read speeds regardless of capacity. The third WD_Black novelty is the external D Thunderbolt 3 Game Dock . As the name suggests, this is a Thunderbolt 3 dock with optional NVMe storage. The dock is equipped with two USB 3.1 Type-A connectors, two Thunderbolt 3 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.4 connector, a USB 3.1 Type-C connector, and a power connector.
