Microsoft has released the new updates for Windows 10 , on all supported versions, on the occasion of November Patch Tuesday . They receive the news clearly Windows 10 October 2020 Update (20 H2) and May 2020 Update , as well as also the updates of the 2019 of the beginning and end of the year.

The same patch is also available on Windows Insider in the Beta and Release Preview channels, who received the version 20 H2 slightly ahead of the stable channel for all users. We remind you that Windows 10 October 2020 Update can be installed on any PC (at the user’s own risk) even if it is not yet planned for distribution for the embedded hardware or installed software. The installation can be forced by participating in the Beta or Release Preview channels, or with the tools made available by Microsoft.

The update corrects 112 vulnerability on the latest versions of Windows 10 (source: BleepingComputer), including a zero-day vulnerability in the Windows Kernel Cryptography Driver (cng.sys ), also known as CVE – 2020 – 17087 and disclosed last week by Google’s Project Zero team.

Microsoft has also released KB patch 4586786 for Windows 10 November 2019 Update and May 2019 Update , also in this case the news are the same for both versions because they share the same core. Here are the news:

Other news on Windows 10

There are several new features also for the older versions of the operating system : Windows 10 October 2018 Update (1809) reached end of support by receiving what should be a final patch (for the Home, Pro, Pro Education, Pro for Workstations and IoT Core). On PCs that still have Windows 10 May 2019 Update , on the other hand, the update to November will be installed automatically in the next few days 2019 Update, as its support will end in December.
