A few months ago, Xiaomi released the Redmi 9, an entry-level smartphone with an interesting price / performance ratio. With the Redmi 9 Power, a revamped version of the smartphone is now available in India. With a 6th 000 mAh battery, the new smartphone has an enormous battery capacity, which the 5th 020 mAh of the predecessor also significantly exceeds. There is also a Snapdragon 662 with either 4 or 6 GB of working memory and an internal memory of either 64 or 128 GB.

The display measures 6, 53 inches and offers FHD + resolution and comes with a small notch at the top End where the 8 MP front camera is located. On the back, the Redmi 9 Power uses a quad camera, consisting of the 48 MP main sensor, a wide-angle camera with 8 MP and two 2 MP sensors, each of which are responsible for the calculation of depth information and macro shots. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the side of the device.

The device is available in India from 22. December for the equivalent of only about 122 euros. However, a look into the past suggests that the price in Europe is only likely to be slightly higher. When – and if – the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power will go on sale in this country is not yet known.
