Xiaomi is very efficient at moving both in the segments of smart mobile devices and all kinds of wearable gadgets. The Mi Band bands offer a great design and specification for relatively little money. The issue of watches looks a bit worse. Xiaomi Mi Watch, despite its attractive form and very good technical specification, cannot stand out above the competition. This is due to the high valuation of the product. The manufacturer does not think to let go of the aforementioned market segment and is preparing a strong blow. No, I’m not talking about another expensive watch, but about the economical version of the current model, i.e. the Mi Watch Lite. Timer passed FCC certification.

Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite smart watch has passed FCC certification. We already know the appearance of the device and its partial technical specification.

Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite looks like Apple Watch and OPPO Watch. The edges are much more rounded than in the first generation of the device. The equipment will be equipped with 1, 41 – inch rectangular screen (I suppose – OLED) that supports touch. The brightness of the display is regulated by the operation of the light sensor, the battery with a capacity 230 mAh can be charged with 5 W. There is also a built-in GPS, working 24 hours a day heart rate monitor and water resistance to a depth of 50 meters. The equipment is able to detect user activity, including swimming.

For Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite we will be able to use Android smartphones from 4.4 up and Apple iPhones running iOS 10 up. There is no certainty about the time of the premiere yet, but it is said that the watch may debut later this year. Will this happen, the next few weeks will show. Perhaps Xiaomi is slightly holding back the presentation due to the upcoming Christmas shopping frenzy, which usually begins at the end of November. As I suppose, it will also hit Polish store shelves soon.
