The announcement of the above crossover content (Death Stranding PC x Cyberpunk ) arrives on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of Kojima Productions , celebrated last 16 December. The collaboration between the Japanese studio and CD Projekt RED brings a series of cosmetic items with which we will customize the appearance of Sam Porter Bridges, protagonist of Death Stranding, and more.

Among the add-ons introduced by ‘latest free patch, available exclusively for the PC version , we find the sunglasses of Johnny Silverhand , co-star of Cyberpunk 2077 played by actor Keanu Reeves (Matrix, John Wick) ; It will also be possible to modify Sam’s face with the same cybernetic grafts used by V in the RPG of the Polish studio.

The biggest addition is probably the Yaiba Kusanagi CT-3X , the fastest motorcycle we can use in Cyberpunk 2077, which in Death Stranding becomes a skin for Sam’s racing car. As some may have already noticed, the vehicle recalls the aesthetics of the Cyberbike seen in Akira , a timeless manga from 1982 made by Katsuhiro Ōtomo.

The CD Projekt RED team also pays tribute to the “small”, but amazing, collaboration with Kojima Productions, inviting players to download the new patch on PC.
