Announced at The Game Awards 2019 Godfall is an action RPG by Counterplay Games studio, which is created under the aegis of the well-known fans of the Borderlands and Brothers in Arms series by Gearbox Software. The manufacturer included the title in the so-called looter shooter, i.e. a mishmash of a classic TPP slasher like God of War, Devil May Cry or Darksiders and elements characteristic of the mentioned Borderlands series, only instead of shooting, the action will focus on hand-to-hand combat. Don’t worry – Godfall offers more than just cooperation for up to four players. We will also complete the story campaign alone. The premiere of the game will take place next week, so Counterplay Games studio finally revealed the hardware requirements for the PC version.

We know the hardware requirements for Godfall slasher, which will be released on PS5 and PC (Epic Games Store) now 12 November 2020 year.

From the very beginning, Godfall was promoted as one of the first games developed exclusively for next-gen hardware. This is also the case – the creators will skip the current generation consoles, focusing only on PlayStation 5 (and PC). Therefore, should we expect hardware requirements worthy of a “new generation” game? Not necessarily, because although the graphics in Godfall are not too bad, it is difficult to talk about any noticeable qualitative leap. Here are the hardware requirements for the PC version (it is worth noting that the game requires a permanent connection to the Internet):

In minimum w there is only a quad-core and quad-threaded Intel Core i5 processor – 6600, which has its heyday long ago behind. In the recommended, however, the manufacturer gave clearly more powerful CPUs: Ryzen 5 3600 or Intel Core i7 – 8700. As for graphics cards, the minimum is the GeForce GTX level 1060 6 GB or Radeon RX 580. For higher settings, GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and Radeon RX 5700 XT. The developers implemented ray tracing (DXR) together with AMD. Ray tracing will also be available on PS5, and the effect will be limited to shadows only. The Sony console will provide 4K gameplay in Godfall and 60 FPS. The premiere of the game will take place 12 November 2020 on PC (Epic Games Store) and PS5. Both platforms are temporary exclusivity (probably for one year).
